HOW TO READ THIS

Comparable scale does not mean equivalent status

What the comparison shows

The 38-LGA footprint occupies roughly the land area of Timor-Leste, Eswatini or Kuwait. If the population lies within 15–25 million, its human scale resembles several established countries.

What it does not show

It does not establish sovereignty, legal nationality, a census count, ethnicity, residence, or membership for any person. The population band remains a research and planning assumption until supported by governed evidence.

SOURCES AND METHOD

Auditable comparison basis

Figures are rounded for display. Population bars use 25 million as the scale maximum; area bars use Kuwait’s 17,820 km². The 20 million midpoint is a visual guide, not a separate estimate. “Complete” means every non-aggregate country or economy in the World Bank catalog that has a reported value for the stated year and falls below the threshold; regional, income-group and world aggregates are excluded.
